Gas - LPG - Oil

We service, repair and install most types of gas or oil-fired appliances in domestic properties and park homes.

Which fuel?
There are three types of fuel: natural gas, LPG (liquid propane gas) and oil.

  1. Natural Gas provides a clean and controllable means of cooking and heating. It is available almost everywhere, though some villages in more remote areas may not be connected to the National Grid.
  2. LPG is more expensive than natural gas. Available in small cylinders and large bulk storage tanks, it's a suitable option for park and mobile homes, isolated properties or those villages which do not have access to natural gas.
  3. Oil is stored in large tanks and can be used for heating and cooking. Oil appliances tend to be slightly more expensive to maintain than those fuelled by gas.

If you aren't sure which is the best type of appliance or fuel for you, just ask and we will advise you on what is the most appropriate for your situation.

Landlord Gas Safety Certificate
If you are a landlord renting out property which you own, you must have an annual gas safety check carried out by a Gas Safe registered installer. (see Useful Info for further information). Call or email us for a quote.

Part 'P' Regulations
It is now a legal requirement that all gas and oil installations, both new and upgrades, must be registered with Building Control, typically at a cost of between £300-£400 to the householder. All our work is automatically registered, the fee being included in the cost of the work.
